 Wedding Planning Resources

Prior Planning & Preparation

Getting ready for the big day is an undertaking of passion, and doing it properly requires forethought, organisation, and serious planning, to make sure that the whole days runs the way you want it to.

To help with that, I have started to collect various resources that can help you plan for the events of the day. Some of these items are part of the planing process that I go through with my wedding couples, and the tools I use during the wedding day itself.

 Wedding Day Wins

When planning your dream wedding, you naturally want to make sure that it is going to be the best day possible.

Wedding Day Wins is a monthly email containing simple hints and tips to help you make your wedding day as perfect as it can possibly be. With detailed videos and suggestions that will make your day easier, at NO cost, why would you not want a piece of the action?

Budget Planner

Being able to plan and control your wedding fund will make the planning process a lot easier.

My budget planner will help you to keep track of all your funds, suppliers payments, and when they are due.

Drinks Calculator

When planing for a champagne reception, or drinks during the wedding breakfast, it is useful to have a good guide on how many bottles and glasses you might need for the event.

Many venues will have a good idea of what is needed, but if you want to check it for yourself, or you are holding your wedding reception out of a venue, then this will help.

 The Run Sheet

One of the most important documents for planning the events which will make up big day itself.

Containing all of the details for the suppliers, the run sheet also includes all of the key timings and the people responsible for each section of your wedding day.

Once it’s done, you can send this to all of the suppliers, and everyone is working from the same plan.

 “The Bag of Emergency Things

Planning for the unexpected is part of the job, so every time I leave the house, I take with me “The Bag of Emergency Things”.

If something unexpected should happen during the day, the chances are that I have a “Thing” in the bag that will solve the problem.

Think of me as your “Swiss Army Host” because no matter what, I will always have the right tool for the job!
